Quoits
In the early 1900's, quoits was a popular and common childhood game. Often improvised with scrap metal and horseshoes or rubber rings, a game of quoits would provide hours of entertainment and competition for children in the neighbourhood.
Relive these fun times with a game of quoits either outside or on the floor inside. People of all skill levels can participate (either sitting or standing) as the peg can be moved closer or further away from the person tossing the quoits. Residents will benefit from gentle wrist and arm movement as well as reminiscing of simple times with home-made games.
